The 3rd. Annual Mike Gormley Charity Golf Tournament is coming up on August 20, 2018 at the Westlake Golf & Country Club, Jackson, NJ.. This event has been dedicated to our past-President, Mike Gormley, a long time Rotarian and who was killed in a traffic accident the month after his Presidential Term.
The Jackson Rotary has been deeply involved with helping our community and our neighbors in need for our nearly 50 year history. This event is our premier revenue source enabling our club to continue doing our good works, such as the Kitay Picnic for Special Citizens, held every year in the Fall; the sponsoring of the Young Writers and the Spelling Bee with the Jackson School District; providing help and funds to the Jackson Food Pantry (which provides needed food and services to about 160 client families a month); providing grant money to community programs; providing I-Pads and specialized equipment to the Alpha School; providing scholarships, including the Mike Gormley Scholarship, to Jackson High School graduates; and so much more!
Please take a moment to review the attached flyers--and consider buying at least one of our raffle tickets. By purchasing the raffle ticket your are eligible to win any one of 20 prizes, such as gold foursomes ant some of the premier courses in our area, or golf lessons by well-respected Pros.
