On Tuesday, October 18,2016, the Jackson Police Department, PBA 168, the Jackson Rotary and the Jackson Kiwanis clubs will be sponsoring a Drug Education Awareness Program for parents and other family members of young people at risk or addicted to opiates and prescription drugs, at Liberty High School, 125 North Hope Chapel Road, Jackson, NJ, from 6 to 9 PM..
As anyone who reads the newspaper can see, this problem has reached a critical mass in our state, and especially in our County and town. This program is presented by the Police and the PBA in an effort to help stem the tide of destruction being caused by these addictions to our young people and our communities.
Please--make an effort to attend. Even if your children are grown, you still have to be concerned your your grandchildren and other relatives.
