Steve Kitay Special Needs Picnic and Fishing Derby

For several years, the Jackson Rotary Club has sponsored the Steve Kitay Fishing Derby and Picnic and has held this event on the Kitay Farm, which has since the inception of the picnic been generously provided by Peter Kitay and the whole of the Kitay Family, in remembrance of Steven Kitay. The Kitay family provides the picnic goers with an ideal setting of a quiet, stocked pond in a beautiful location. The special needs and handicapped attendees, as well as their families and fiends who also come, have always had a great time--and all of the participants go home a winner!

Besides the Jackson Rotary members who help cook and entertain the young participants, members of the Jackson High Schools' Interact Clubs also work hard in making this event a success., Without their help the picnic would not be as successful.
